I received this product for free from Centellian24 and Picky.
This serum contains a mix of glycolic and lactic acid, both AHA’s that help exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells and helping with skin texture. It also contains amino acids and allantoin to help soothe and moisturize the skin, and protease to enhance the absorption of other ingredients. I did notice my skin looking brighter and more radiant the day after I used this product. I only use this a max of 3 times per week as it is an exfoliating serum. I’m not sure about the percentage of the acid contained in this serum, but it does feel very gentle in my skin.
Pros:
- Very gentle and non-irritating for an exfoliating serum.
- Contains amazing soothing ingredients, particularly amino acids which are my favourite for repairing damaged skin barrier.
Cons:
- The serum does unfortunately have a slight scent to it, which I believe comes from the Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil, so if you are sensitive to fragrance ingredients and flower oils, I would avoid this product.
Overall, I’m not a huge fan of aha’s as they tend to irritate my skin a lot, but I didn’t have this problem when using this serum.
