Summer Fridays ShadeDrops SPF 30 Mineral Milk Sunscreen
I’ve been testing out the Summer Fridays ShadeDrops Mineral Milk Sunscreen, and here’s my take on it after using it for a while!
Texture & Application
The texture is super lightweight and fluid—almost like a milky serum. It spreads effortlessly on the skin without feeling thick or heavy. Unlike some mineral sunscreens that leave a chalky residue, this one melts in beautifully and doesn’t feel greasy.
Packaging
I absolutely love the sleek, minimalist packaging! The dropper-style bottle makes it easy to dispense just the right amount of product without any mess. Plus, it’s compact and travel-friendly, which is always a plus for me.
Color & Scent
It has a very light beige tint straight out of the bottle, but once blended, it goes on sheer without leaving a white cast (which is a big win for a mineral sunscreen!). The scent is subtle and clean, with no overpowering fragrance—great for those who are sensitive to scents.
Key Ingredients
• Zinc Oxide (Non-Nano 12%) – Provides broad-spectrum sun protection without irritating the skin.
• Squalane – Helps with hydration, keeping the skin soft and plump.
• Chamomile & Vitamin E – Soothes the skin and offers antioxidant benefits.
Overall Thoughts
I really enjoy how comfortable this sunscreen feels on my skin. It’s hydrating without being greasy, layers well under makeup, and best of all—no white cast! As a dark skin person this is a win for me. It’s perfect for everyday use, especially if you have sensitive or combination skin like mine. If you’re looking for a lightweight, non-irritating mineral sunscreen, this is definitely worth trying!
