I use this as the first step in my skincare routine to prep my skin, and so far, it’s been great. No irritation at all, if anything, it actually helps soothe my skin thanks to the centella. Besides brightening, it also gently exfoliates with natural ingredients like apple extract, making my skin feel fresh, smooth, and ready for the next steps.
Since the Tone Brightening line is all about radiance, this toner is packed with brightening powerhouses like Madewhite, niacinamide, and vitamin C derivatives. But what I love most is that even with these active ingredients, it’s still gentle enough to layer with other brightening skincare without overwhelming my skin.
Another thing I love, it has zero fragrance! I literally don’t smell anything, which makes sense since they don’t use any added scents, perfect for those with sensitive skin. The texture is super runny and absorbs incredibly fast, so it never feels heavy or sticky. I use it morning and night, just one layer applied directly with my hands and tapped in.
None. There might be better toners with similar functions, but this one already does an amazing job, so I have no complaints.
