This is a good mascara. I bought it when I was a bit older and could choose my own makeup, instead of my mom picking it for me. The packaging is really cute, and it claims to be waterproof. I haven’t tested it fully in water, but I think it holds up pretty well. I really like the applicator, and I do appreciate that it’s waterproof. When I need a mascara that’ll last through the day, especially when I’m going somewhere important, this one works well. It gives good volume, and the formula is nice.
However, I don’t use it as often because I tend to scratch my eyes, and it smudges all over under my eyes. I end up looking like a panda, and I definitely don’t want that happening throughout the day, especially at work or other places. The only other thing is the stickers, again. I’ll mention this in every Essence review. The packaging gets all sticky and messy with glue, and it ruins the design. The glue even starts turning black over time, and I have to clean it off with acetone, which is just annoying.
