I recently tried Botanity's Aloe Flower Cica Serum, and I'm enjoying it. This calming serum is designed to strengthen the skin barrier over time, thanks to its blend of:
* Aloe flower: known for its natural anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, which can help calm redness and irritation in sensitive skin.
* Centella asiatica: a plant-based ingredient with skin-repairing, anti-inflammatory, and regenerating properties, often used to help heal breakouts and calm irritation.
* Peptides: short chains of amino acids that can help boost the skin's moisture barrier, improve elasticity, and enhance overall skin resilience, especially after stress or sensitivity.
I liked the lightweight, watery texture that absorbs quickly without feeling heavy or tacky. It layers well under other skincare products without pilling. After a week, my skin felt softer and less irritated. I think it's a great option for sensitive oily skin.
I like that there’s no added fragrance or essential oils and the dropper packaging makes it easy to dispense and travel with.
Received this product for free from Picky and Botanity in exchange for my honest review.
Nothing really bad to say except it’s Not super innovative or life changing. And what I mean by that is there are So many Korean serums out there that do the same thing. I wouldn’t say that this is a need. If you already have a calming serum with peptides and centella asiatica then it will get the job done.
