Another Holy Grail for me! 🤩 Who does not love Centella? I admit I do think its a bit overhyped and not everyone benefits from it. This one though really delivered its purpose.
The texture is thicker than water but still runny. When you apply it, it feels slimey/sticky but once its fully absorbed, it dries up nicely. Perfect for oily/combination skin!
This product is so versatile! I use it as a toner at night using cotton and layer it with the rest of my routine. I notice that my skin is brighter the next day. Probably because of the 2% Niacinamide. In the morning I use this as an essence/moisturizer right before sunscreen. My skin is much smoother and less oily throughout the day. On exfoliation nights I use this as a DIY mask and it helps moisturize my skin so I dont dry up.
At first, I thought all of this was just because of the Niacinamide and I dont really feel the Centella but on my 4th week of using it, my skin got so sensitive from sun exposure, I was just feeling sensitive all over. I decided to use this and stop the rest. It felt so soothing and calming, 3 days and my skin is much better. 💕
Bonus is that its fragrance free, comes in big bottle (200ml), ingredients are straight forward and its not pricey at all. Recommended for all skin types 👍
Probably takes a while to feel the soothing, healing effect. You will need to have a really sensitive skin to appreciate it. Otherwise, its all good! 😍
