I had heard all the warnings about the weird smell before choosing this serum — and still decided to try it because the formula looked so good.
Yes, the scent is there. It’s kind of smoky, like old self-tanner or hot dogs (thanks to ferulic acid and oxidizing vitamin C).
I chose to use it at night, that makes it much more manageable.
Now, the results? They’re undeniable.
Even after just three uses, my skin looked:
✔ Brighter
✔ Smoother
✔ More even
The ingredients are exactly what I was looking for:
🔬 20% L-ascorbic acid
🌿 Vitamin E
🔥 Ferulic acid
💧 Ethoxydiglycol (for better absorption)
I also keep it in the fridge — this helps with both scent and stability.
So yes, the smell isn’t amazing, but the results are 100% worth it. If you're scent-sensitive, you might want to look elsewhere.
As for me — I’m sticking with it.
