I rub the purity solution after pumping out about two to three pumps onto my hand; usually two. I rub it within my hands first to have it warm when placing the oil onto my face which makes it feels nice. The cleansing oil takes off makeup, even my mascara. I have been using this nourishing deep cleansing oil for 14 days AM & PM, though missed one night that I went to sleep and woke up with some makeup on. After rubbing it all over my face and neck I take it off with a small cloth that I let run under hot water. I then dry my face well enough with a towel. I've been using this solution with three other skin regime steps. Step two being their hyaluronic serum called Surge. Step three being bakuchiol complete a plant based retinol alternative serum and step four being a deep moisture & firming hydrator moisturizer called Humidify. They also recommend you use a toner, though I was out of toner. I found this Purity Solution to be a delight to use and would recommend to anyone seeking a cleaning oil or makeup remover. Well, it was my fault! I had an accident and it slipped into the sink and my son was just brushing his teeth and it still had toothpaste water in the sink. I got it out as quickly as I could; but I was too late! Eventually the toothpaste smell stopped but it was still diluted some and wasn’t as potent as it once was before.
