First, the smell is horrible. I don't know if its the charcoal or what but it stinks. Secondly, it doesnt work well to remove waterproof makeup or even makeup in general. After washing it off I had a lot of makeup come off onto my face towel. When I used a toner in the morning, more makeup came off on the cotton pad. Its not a very good cleansing product, in my general opinion.
