🍂 for me, i like to use cleansing water in three conditions: first, when i do triple cleansing for heavier make up; second, when i cleanse my face in the cold, lazy morning; and third, when i take shower in the early evening that is way to early to start my night time skincare routine (and have no plan to go out), so i just slap on my toner or essence and cleanse my face with a cleansing water or water before doing my night routine. cleansing your face too many times with a water based cleanser might be too stripping for your skin (again, depends on your skin type and condition) since it has surfactant as one of the ingredient to be able to remove all the dirt from your skin. however, some of cleansing water products also have surfactant inside and we (me included) tend to forget that we need to wash it off from our skin after usage. . 🍂 here come this (PR - gifted by @go.picky) @oolo.official three supa cleansing water, a surfactant-free product made of only three ingredients by combining science and advance technology. they believe that healthy skin starts with healthy cleansing without the need of an aggresive cleanser that can irritate the skin, which leads to this innovative product with no harmful ingredients. they are using a technology called supa (super safe up aqua, which is developed by kaist researchers) which is a nano technology used to break down the oil particles into the size of 1/5000 of a single hair strand, enabling it to be mixed with water without adding any surfactants nor other chemicals. . 🍂 the three main ingredients are water, jojoba seed oil and 1.2 hexadienol. jojoba seed oil is a liquid plant wax that resembles our skin's natural sebum. it is non clogging and non comedogenic, as well as rich in antioxidant and moisturizing properties. water here acts as a solvent and hexadienol is there as a humectant and emmolient property. . 🍂 it comes in a see-through, sturdy plastic bottle with a push-down pump dispenser, which is my favorite dispensing method for a cleansing water - it enables to distribute the product evenly to the cotton pads. the texture itself is watery, light and not greasy, eventhough it's a water-oil formula. it's also fragrance free, however you can still smell that nutty, earthy smell of the jojoba seed oil - it's not overpowering, though. . 🍂 it claims as a non-rinse, sebum control and deep cleansing product that can be used during morning time, day time and night time. i enjoy using this in the morning to cleanse my face from the sebum and dirt that accumulated when i was sleeping, as well as in the night time before doing my skincare routine after taking a too-early shower like i mentioned before. it's not greasy at all - it doesn't leave any residue that normally left behind by an oil product. it is gentle, doesn't sting my eyes and doesn't irritate my skin or cause any build up. for sebum control claims, it does remove the sebum after you are using it but the effect doesn't last long, it does nothing for the oil production control - however, it doesn't make your skin oiler too! . verdict? based on its performance, it's more like a cleansing toner instead of a cleansing water for me. it has a really simple ingredients which i appreciate and is pleasant to use for removing light make up and dirt, since it doesn't leave any residue or greasy feeling after usage. however, it's not effective enough for heavier make up and can lead to over rubbing your skin. as a cleansing water, it's certainly not a stand alone product but you'll need to use a cleansing oil or balm afterwards.
