Even though this contains (I believe) 2% salicylic acid, it does not feel stripping on the skin! I've used several exfoliating cleansers with lower concentration of BHAs like Cosrx and Hada Labo Tamagohada, but this cleanser by far feels the least stripping. It also helps with blackheads control.
Using it too often (AM and PM) has left my skin more sensitised. I need to rotate this between other gentler cleansers.

Being a pH balanced cleanser and sulfate free, this cleanser doesn’t lather like other cleansers. There’s no fragrance or heavily scented ingredients added either which I really love!
After rinsing off my skin feels cleansed and ready for toning and moisturing. This cleanser has been the perfect addition to my routine since I got it, and I am almost out of it! When I get a blemish I feel this cleanser reduces the severity of it compared to washing with a different cleanser.
I also notice it helps keep my skin smooth and free of texture. This cleanser is very gentle for my sensitive skin and really helps with my acne prone skin. After using this cleanser for 2 weeks this did purge my skin a little which I think is OK because I know that this cleanser is working.
It did purge my skin a little but nothing more

- Main reason for getting this was to eliminate sebaceous filaments on my nose area.
- 150mL bottle lasted me nearly a year considering I began using it a couple of times per week to a few times a week to every other day to daily. Easing into it gradually to avoid dryness and irritation especially when around the same time I also started on retinol.
- All in all I thought this was a good gentle BHA product to keep the pores clean. I encountered very few occasions of zits popping up for my duration of use which I was pleased about.
- It did not totally eliminate my stubborn concern but it did benefit my skin in some ways.
I wish the bottle is sealed upon purchase. Bought it from a reseller online and I was doubting its authenticity at first because of that. But I was able to compare it with a friend’s purchase and confirmed it to be legitimate.

It’s a gentle exfoliating (slightly foaming) and helps my super oily skin from causing breakouts. I only use it around my forehead and jawline because it can irritate my Rosacea. A little goes a long way and can be used on your body as well.
Since my skin has become sensitive from Rosacea, this cleanser can cause irritation if I use it on my cheek area.

They Inkey List Salicylic Acid Cleanser claims to reduce blockheads, acne breakouts and promote and more even complexion.
🔑Key Ingredients~
2% Salicylic Acid~ gently exfoliates the skin and helps unclog pores.
Zinc Compound~Helps reduce extra sebum and has anti-inflammatory properties.
Allantoin~ Helps sooth irritation and stimulates new cell growth.
Use~
You can use in the Am and Pm.
(Depending on the Level of your sensitivity, I
recommend started out slow using it a few times a
week)
Massage a small amount on face and neck in aCircular motion
Rinse and apply serums and Moisturizers
🚨 FYI~ Doctors advise skipping salicylic acid during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as trace amounts of the ingredient can be absorbed into the bloodstream.
🚨 Tip~When using a strong salicylic acid you should be mindful of the rest of your skin routine.
When using a strong exfoliate like Salicylic Acid, you should scale down on other exfoliates (like brushes, scrubs or devices. Over exfoliation can break down your skin Barrier, which can further inflammation and dryness.
💭Thoughts~i got this as a gift and I have used the entire bottle.
I highly recommend this to anybody with oily, and acne prone skin. People with sensitive skin, dry skin and rosacea like I have should use it sparingly, as it can cause dryness. I use it up to 3 to 4 times a week on my face & neck, if I use over that and my face will start to get dry. Afterwards I use grace and Stella hyaluronic serum and then Elemis moisturizer.
I love it, even though i have to be careful, it leaves my face feel renewed, acne free and soft, and it’s only $10.00.
#THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser
i love this product but if you have sensitive skin dont use it everyday use it sparingly, as it can cause drynes

✧ Description: This non-drying, lightly foaming cleanser removes makeup and dirt, while helping to reduce blackheads and breakouts. As well as effectively cleansing the skin, this 2% Salicylic Acid cleanser has an added zinc compound.
Together they help with oil-control, reducing blackheads and breakouts and promoting a more even looking complexion.
✧ Full Ingredients: Water (Aqua/Eau), Propanediol, Glycerin, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Salicylic Acid, PEG-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Betaine, Zinc PCA, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Chloride, Allantoin, Sodium Hydroxide, Coco-Glucoside, Glyceryl Oleate, Benzyl Alcohol, Coconut Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Tocopherol, Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides Citrate
💜 This cleanser does not reside in the “budget skincare” at where I stay, however I do believe its worth it, if you are trying to include BHA into your routine! In this case, salicylic acid helps the skin to shed dead cells from the top layer and your skin will generate new cells! And this decreases the number of pimples that form and speeds healing. (Adapted from: WebMD)
Sadly, this cleanser did not significantly reduce the amount of acne on my face though. But I’m in love with the texture and how it cleanses my skin without leaving my skin feeling tight and dry!

This cleanser is said to be non-drying and lightly foaming, effectively removing makeup and dirt while penetrating deep into pores to reduce blackheads and breakouts. It also promises to control oil, promote an even-looking complexion, and soothe irritation.

After using this cleanser for a year, I can honestly say that I have noticed a significant improvement in my skin. ✨Salicylic Acid✨
Hey guys, today we are gonna talk about The Inkey List salicylic acid cleanser. First we are gonna talk about Salicylic Acid also know as bha or beta-hydroxy-acid. MedlinePlus tells us : "Topical salicylic acid treats acne by reducing swelling and redness and unplugging blocked skin pores to allow pimples to shrink. It treats other skin conditions by softening and loosening dry, scaly, or thickened skin so that it falls off or can be removed easily. " I decided to use this cleanser beceuse I had some closed comedeones on my forehead.
✨The Texture✨
This cleanser has a gel texture that foams up . The texture is really nice and a little slimy which makes it so nice to use !
✨The Feeling✨
When the product is on your skin, it’s really nice, your face does not feel irritated and when it foams up the feeling is still good.
After rinsing your face : It’s okay, your skin can maybe feels a little dry or irritated if you have sentitive skin but overall it’s okay.
✨After 2 weeks✨
After two weeks, I really felt that my skin was smoother and that I had less comedeones but the results where not incredible !
✨After 1 month✨
After 1 months, my skin was even smoother, I had less comedeones but my cheeks and mainly my nosetrills were kind of irritated.
✨After 2 months✨
I had less comedeones but my skin still had closed comedeones on my forehead. I could definitely see the results but they were not too incredible.
✨Conclusion✨
This is a good BHA cleanser and the results werre good bit not that incredible. Tho overall this is good cleanser. Like I said I still had little closed comedeones on my forehead so I tried something : I used The Inkey List Salicylic Acid cleanser in the morning because this is really gentle. And I used The Cerave SA cleanser that is more powerful and it worked so much more for my skin. Right now I’m at my second bottle because I found out how to use it !
✨Tips✨
- ⚠️ If you have sensitive skin don’t use it everyday : maybe like 2/3 times a week because this can irritate your skin !⚠️
- If your skin is not too sensitive like mine, you can try to use it as a mask. This way to use it really helped me. You should try it as a mask during 1 minute first then you can go to 3 or even 4 minutes. But beware this can be irritating !
- If like you experienced irritation on your nostrils like me you can maybe wash your face except that part with the cleanser.
✨Irritation✨
Like I said, this cleanser can be really irritating so beware if you have sensitive skin !
✨Results✨
Of course I saw results but They were not incredible. If you are experiencing this problem after 2 months you should maybe use the Cerave SA cleanser.

This product had been a blessing for me for the past year to help combat maskne. A couple skincare Youtubers recommended it and for only $13 CDN, I thought why not try it. The cleanser comes in a 150 ml bottle but it will last for a while. I love that it is fragrance free and has a light lather. I will message it in my skin for a minimum of 20-30 seconds. I will sometimes leave it on my face a minute or two if my skin is breaking out. It rinses off easily without leaving any residue or without making my skin feel dry or tight. For anyone who is acne or blemish prone, I definitely recommend this cleanser!
I really can’t think of anything bad about with product other than wishing that i could purchase it in a bigger bottle!
