good review
It has a gel-cream formula that dries to a smooth powdery finish. It's powdery because of the azelaic acid granules after all it is a suspension formula. I use this product alone in the AM routine and i don't layer it with any other active just moisturizer and sunscreen. I don't experience pilling with that method. I alternate the use of my actives per day and per routine instead of layering everything on top of each other in a single routine. So far here is my progress in the pictures below... Read more

The powdery finish kinda dries out my skin at the end of the day if i don't apply a moisturizer. Other than that, it's perfect... Read more

This is gentle yet effective acne treatment Iโ€™ve ever used. This product can be use all over your face or use as a spot cream. It has calmed my redness and cystic acne in a very short time. It also helped fading my hyperpigmentation as well. This product can be use with products safely. Moreover, if youโ€™re struggling with rosacea, this is your go to treatment.... Read more

It can cause purging sometimes. It also could be a bit drying if you apply gel cream afterward. Recommend using thick cream after this product. However, if comparing to other exfoliating or acne treating ingredients, this has less irritation, less drying and cause less purging especially safe for sensitive skin and pregnancy women.... good review
๐ŸŽฏ It helps reduce redness and even my skin texture so I picked up this one because Iโ€™ve had great luck with this brand. Iโ€™ve been using it for a few months now and itโ€™s done wonders! ๐Ÿ˜Œ It hasnโ€™t caused me to breakout plus my skin feels smoother and my redness had noticeably reduced! ๐Ÿ’ต This is also very inexpensive but it doesnโ€™t come with a lot of product, luckily it only takes a very small amount.... ๐Ÿงด Itโ€™s kinda thick and goes on like a silicone texture; a bit matte looking when applied. ๐Ÿ˜” It was not moisturizing (had a silicone primer-like texture), and everything peeled with it, leaving my skin feeling dry.... Read more

good review
I used to hate this product because it made my acne worse. Little did I know I was just purging. After I confided in using it again after 1-2 months of leaving it in my shelf, it really changed my acne-prone skin. Almost no acne was growing on my skin now (1-2 there, hormonal stuff ๐Ÿฅฒ) and slowly but surely, the hyperpigmentation my 3 years of acne are fading away from my skin! The key is patience, people!... Read more

It has a dry mattifying finish even though itโ€™s a creamy-moisturizer like texture. You have to use a good moisturizer after this (and sunscreen if youโ€™re using it in the morning!) At first it pilled, but I figured out the solution! Prep your skin with a good hydrating toner before applying it. I used to apply it directly without toners and it pilled so badddd.... Read more

Wouldnโ€™t want to go without it anymore. When I consistently use this every day my acnes reduces so much. My skin is sensitive, but this Azelaic Acid Suspension does not give me any irritation and I am so happy someone once recommended this. It kinda has a creamy texture. It is a bit different from anything Iโ€™ve used before. Not sure how to describe it but it has a different finish then with normal creams. This product I will definitely keep buying, it has become my main product that helps me keep my acne at bay. I have been using this since 12th of December, and I find it so so so good for PIE (post inflammatory erythema). Doesn't leaves skin rough and patchy. In start I applied like a sandwiche method with moisturizer because my skin is super sensitive to new products. Cleanser Moisturizer Azelaic acid Moisturizer After a week I started applying Cleanser Azelaic acid Moisturizer I use in the night time Routene only. This is a life saver for acne, inflammation, PIE. ๐ŸŒฟ ๐‘ฎ๐’†๐’๐’†๐’“๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ฐ๐’๐’‡๐’: Azelaic Acid has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps prevent breakouts, reduce redness (post inflammatory erythema), and reduce the appearence of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Azelaic Acid also combines well with other products. ๐ŸŒฟ ๐‘ด๐’š ๐’†๐’™๐’‘๐’†๐’“๐’Š๐’†๐’๐’„๐’†: I used up a whole tube, from April 21 (1st "before" pic) to May 17 (2nd "now" pic). I used this every night as the last step in my skin care routine. I usually get pimples in the same area (chin, this pic) during the use of this cream i got 4 pimples/inflammatory acne in that area and they all healed quickly and nicely. Usually it takes them about a month (each) to go away but I noticed they were going away quicker/getting less and less inflamed. After I was done with the cream I decided to use a higher percentage---15% azelaic acid gel. Overall great cream! ๐ŸŒฟ ๐‘ป๐’‰๐’† ๐’˜๐’‚๐’š ๐‘ฐ ๐’–๐’”๐’†๐’… ๐’Š๐’• ๐’Š๐’ ๐’Ž๐’š ๐’“๐’๐’–๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’†: Morning La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+ Balm Skin aqua UV super moisture milk Night Hada Labo Gokujyun Oil cleanser La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+ Balm The ordinary Azelaic Acid ๐ŸŒฑ ๐‘ผ๐’”๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’Š๐’• ๐’‚๐’‡๐’•๐’†๐’“ ๐’Ž๐’๐’Š๐’”๐’•๐’–๐’“๐’Š๐’›๐’†๐’“ ๐’๐’†๐’”๐’”๐’†๐’๐’†๐’… ๐Ÿฅ€ This formula is very irritating for me, just a note--I have eczema prone skin (irritation was still manageable). I'm not sure if it's because of the high amount of dimethicone? It also felt hard to spread, and seemed not to completely ~sink~ into my skin. By this I mean, in the morning when I would wash my face I felt that layer of cream I had put on the night before. ๐Ÿฅ€ After using this and getting a 15% azelaic acid gel (Finacea) I thought the gel would be even more irritating. But that wasn't the case at all, the gel was better tolerated, well absorbed and easily spread. Still itchy, but not as much as the ordinary azelaic acid. Maybe that means TO's azelaic acid preped my skin for it? Not sure. ๐ŸŒบ ๐‘ป๐’Š๐’‘: If you're looking to lessen your acne, PIE, PIH, rosacea, etc. Then you should give azelaic acid a try starting with a 10% and working your way up to 15-20%! It takes a while to see results. I would suggest finding a different formulation though, if you don't like dimethicone.... Read more

HOLY GRAIL! Thanks to this product my skin has cleared up drastically - both from new pimples and hyperpigmentation. Lasts a long time. ๐ŸŸฉ TIP: use it as a spot treatment for new breakouts. Apply generous amount of the products on top of the breakout so you cover the pimple itself and the area around it. It should dry and leave white cast behind. I found that the breakouts decrease in size, pain and redness. Saw results when applied like this overnight and during the day, when I am staying at home. Reapply if needed. Be cautious to not overtreat the area.... Read more
