Comedogenic Products
These are all of the products that I’ve exchanged since they had clogging ingredients. My skin has been breaking out badly so I’ve removed products that have comedogenic ingredients to prevent further breakouts. Just because a product is comedogenic, doesn’t mean it will have the same affect to you as it did me. Every skin type is different. I’m just trying to be cautious and maybe I’ll try to use some of these products in the future.

Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil
This products contains Ethylhexyl Palmitate, which is a synthetic ester used in cosmetics as a skin-conditioning and emollient ingredient. It’s highly comedogenic. Its a common cause for clogged pores.

I am obsessed with this product. I just used it for the first time and my skin has never felt smoother. I love how the blackheads on my nose aren’t as visible and I’m sure that I’ll be able to get rid of them with time. I had texture around my nose and it’s still a bit noticeable but it feels so much better. As I’ve said before, I’m sure I’ll be able to get rid of it with constant use. I definitely recommend this product to those who struggle with blackheads as well as texture.

Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream
Myristic Acid is an emulsifier and cleanser. As an emulsifier, it stabilizes the product by preventing ingredients from separating. Helps clean your skin by acting as a surfactant. Tends to gather oil and dirt on your skin to be easily rinsed away. Has a moderately high comedogenic rating, which means it may clog pores and be less suitable for those with oily or acne-prone skin.

Black Snail Cream
Sorbitan Oleate is created from compounds in oleic acid and sorbitol. It is used to stabilize a product by preventing ingredients from separating. May not be fungle acne safe. It can also worsen oily skin. Polyglyceryl-3-Diisostearate is an emulsifier and emollient. It comes from Isostearic Acid and Polyglycerin-3. As an emulsifier, it helps stabilize products by preventing oils and water from separating. It’s one of the more common highly comedogenic emulsifying agents found in cosmetics.

I received this product for free from Picky and DR.G in exchange for my honest review. When I first heard about this product, I was estatic since I heard that it would help brighten my skin. I heard about the Propolis in the product and got excited since it would be my first time using such an ingredient. I absolutely love how the product comes with a little spatula. I didn’t see it coming but I find it absolutely adorable. I also love how all of the Dr.G products have braille on them. It warms my heart that they’ve included such a detail that could mean a lot to others. I haven’t come in contact with any product like it.
