You can try the buffer method!
After cleansing, apply a layer of moisturizer, then your retinol, and add another layer of moisturizer. That way, it mitigates the irritation and redness from retinol.
You can also try to pull back and use it only 1-2 times a week. Once your skin is more acclimated to the retinol and you don't see the bumps anymore, then increase.

Dry/Sensitive
Hello! I have been on my own retinol journey. I started applying a vitamin c serum before hand and vitamin c is definitely something my skin doesn’t like. You could try to finish up this product and use a retinol that doesn’t have anything extra with it?
I am currently using the inkey list retinol serum. My skin definitely did a purge where I broke out, but it only lasted 3-4 weeks before my skin cleaned up and I got to see the benefits.
Hang in there!! If you’re still seeing breakouts after 4-6 weeks, maybe try another product 💕
