SOME BY MI Lacto Soy Sebum & Blackheads Cleansing Oil π«
Hi, Pickies! How's your day going? I hope you're enjoying the day as much as I do π
I just had the chance to try out SOME BY MI's newest launch, the Lacto Soy Cleansing Oil. Since it's not available yet in Picky, and our requests haven't been added for months, I'd just share my personal experience here. I hope it can be helpful for those who want to try this β¨οΈ
π¦ First off, the packaging of SOME BY MI Lacto Soy Sebum & Blackheads Cleansing Oil has a clean, minimalist design in soft beige tones, giving it a natural and calming appearance. The bottles have a pump dispenser, which is convenient for controlled usage and maintains hygiene. Unfortunately, although the pump has a lock, the product gets spilled out easily, which makes the box wet βοΈ
π« This oil has a silky, emollient texture that glides smoothly over the skin. The oil has a balanced consistency, giving a medium viscosity that is lightweight on the skin while still moisturizing. The Lacto Soy adds a milky, smooth texture when emulsified with water, creating a gentle cleansing experience that feels creamy as it rinses off. It helps make the oil feel more skin-softening. It has mild and slightly nutty and creamy scents. There are no strong fragrances or essential oils listed, so the scent is light and unobtrusive, making it comfortable for sensitive noses.
π The lightweight, non-greasy oils effectively dissolve makeup and impurities, including waterproof products, without feeling too heavy or clogging pores. It rinses off easily with water, turning it into a milky texture. This helps prevent a greasy residue, which is crucial for oily skin that can feel weighed down by oil-based cleansers. It also helps control excess oil production, which may help keep skin feeling balanced rather than overly oily after cleansing. It does help unclogging out the blackhead, but I need to massage gently for a few minutes before actually seeing the results.
β οΈ While some oils are generally safe, ingredients like Coconut Oil are more comedogenic, meaning they could clog pores in some people with acne-prone skin. Additionally, the combination of multiple oils might be too heavy if the skin is highly sensitive to oils. Although it rinses off easily, it might feel slightly drying, which could lead to the skin overproducing oil as a reaction. This may not be ideal if your skin is prone to dehydration or tightness.
