Yeah, over-exfoliation can damage your moisture barrier, which can lead to CCs. Cut back on exfoliation and strong actives for a while and stick to a basic routine with products containing barrier-supportive ingredients for a while and I'm sure your skin will be back to normal in no time❤️

Overexfoliation can definitely damage your skin barrier and a damaged skin barrier can react with breakouts

Didn't know this was possible. How to know then if I'm overexfoliating or not exfoliating enough? 😩 clogged pores are my biggest struggle 😖
