I personally prefer to put it on my hands first before applying it to my face by tapping it gently, whether it's a serum with a pipette or a pump applicator. I'm comfortable with that method.

I apply by putting on my hands and pat on my face.. That what I usually do.. but for some people, they usually put the serum directly on their face and pat it evenly.. I think it depends on the packaging
