can cerave renewing sa facial wash can remove milia?

So I have this tiny pesky bumbs on my skin, otherwise known as milia or milk spots. In already used homemade scrub, i already used the ordinary aha bha acid but theyre still here. I recently ordered the cerave product and Im thinking if that will work on me. Any recommendations? Affordable products will help alot since I'm a starving student.

what i heard from some youtube videos is that retinol is one of the only ingredients that can remove milia. i had milia before and i used the retinol 0.5% from the ordinary and it removed it after about 2-3 months :)) hope this helped!

The best way to remove a milia is through extraction, and it has to be done right, preferably by a professional. Personally I have tried removing milia with TO lactic acid and TO retinol 1% in squalane, they did work by shrinking the size of the milia and some even completely disappeared. However they did not totally clear up all my milias, which I still have to go for extractions for the best effect.

Is the extraction painful?

I have the same problem! You can‘t take milia off with product, just prevent from new milias. You have to go to the derm or aestetics to remove them. I‘m using the SA cleanser from Cerave but my skin is so dry after that. Don‘t put to much product on your skin, that can cause milia. Extra tip: Avoid oil🥰
