It is both a cleanser and an exfoliating step. How often you use it depends on your skin, as some people can handle once a day just fine while others benefit from using it more sparsely. But unless you are battling acne, I wouldn’t use it every day. Also, if you have other harsh actives in your routine, it might be best to not use it on the daily 🥰

It isn’t meant to be near the eyes like a regular cleanser. I would suggest to use it at night since in the morning you don’t want anything harsh. So yeah it’s Basically a cleanser but it’s more of a treatment. I believe it has a percentage under 2% so it is pretty gentle but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a reaction from it so definitely incorporate it into your routine slowly.

I think it depends on skin. Some people could tolerate using it twice a day while others could still purge from it despite the low concentration . The best way is to incorporate it slowly into your routine and adjust the usage based on your skin reaction , whether for daily use or once for every few days

It depends on your skin, your tolerance to thr product and BHAs in general, and the rest of your routine. If you already use other exfoliating products, then I'd definitely not use it every day, there's a high chance you might overexfoliate. If this is the only exfoliating product you use, I'd start with only using this 2-3 times a week to see how your skin reacts and increase usage slowly. You will eventually find your optimal use. I personally don't use salicylic acid more than twice a week, I find it a bit harsh for more frequent use, but each skin is different.
