Cotton pads are a recommended method of applying exfoliating toner because they act like an exfoliating tool themselves and catch some impurities and dirty that may be on the surface of the skin. Maybe they are more beneficial for oily sin types bc it removes the extra sebum. Personally I don’t use them bc sometimes I feel like they are too harsh on my skin and dry it plus they waste a lot pf product.

I did try the cotton pad as that was suggested, but I feel that it wastes too much product so I use my hands!

I dont use cotton pad bc I got mine in the size 30 mL so it would be a waste if I'm using cotton pad. It still works wonder tho

I always use hands, no matter if it’s an exfoliatig product or not. So i’d recommend hands.

I would say by hand. You get more use out of it!
