Hi guys, Lately, it seems like I only manage to get my hands on products that aren't available in Picky's database yet! Yes, I have another one! 😁 Since this actually is a newly released product, let's hope Picky will host a giveaway with it soon, forcing them to add it to it's database eventually! 😉 Some of you undoubtedly spotted Coxir's newest product by now, as it has been quite a viral one lately. The Coxir TXA Mucin Pore Mask Cleanser is a very sticky, very gooey black colored textured 2 in 1 Mask and Cleanser, containing Tranexamic Acid, some protective Antioxidants like Snail Mucin and Green Tea, Charcoal for exfoliation, Black Rice, Peach, Pear, Vanilla Extract, Glycerin and Arginine, claiming to cleanse and purify the skin by drawing out impurities, excess sebum and dead skin cells, while hydrating, toning and nourishing the skin. It's free of any harmful ingredients like alcohol and essential oils and suitable for all skintypes. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: It claims to be a fragrance free product but the Vanilla Extract it contains does make this Cleanser / Mask slightly scented. Although the Vanilla Extract is a natural fragrance, derived from the ripe fruits of the Vanilla Planifolia Orchid, I don't really notice a Vanilla scent in there, which is too bad because I love Vanilla scented products! To be honest, I detect something more chemical. The fragrance doesn't bother me that much, because, while it doesn't smell that good, it evaporates quite quickly, so I don't really care it has a scent, but I still feel like it still is some sort of false advertising and that's quite a shame. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: This Cleanser / Mask has a very sticky, very stretchable, bouncy and stringy black colored texture. It's fun to play with (how far can you stretch it without the strings breaking apart? 😉) but it takes some effort, some skills and some practice to apply it on your face without spilling it all over yourself, but when applying it carefully, it's definitely manageable! The brand is calling this texture "mochi-like" and I'm totally up for it! 😉 After adding water, it's bouncy, mochi-like texture turns into a silky soft, light grey-ish colored foam which feels light and comfortable on the skin without drying the skin. Rubbing it in and rinsing it off is slightly more difficult, compared to a foam, gel or oil textured Cleanser or Mask, again, because of the sticky, gooey texture but when using enough water, it washes off eventually. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: This 2 in 1 Cleanser / Mask comes in a 120 ml, grey-ish / black-ish gradient, matte, plastic squeeze tube with a shiny black flip cap on top and is easy to dose. Applying it is a tad more difficult but that's due to the gooey, sticky and stringy texture and has nothing to do with the packaging. The front features some product info in English in black lettering and on the back, there's an ingredient list and some brand info in English, directions on how to use the product and a caution warning in multiple languages, including Dutch, Spanish, Polish, Russian, German and, obviously, English, all in white lettering. I think I received an European version, since there doesn't seem to be any Korean text available. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: After application and rinsing it off again, my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth, nourished, hydrated, soothed and squeaky clean and looks balanced, toned up and healthy. There wasn't any sticky residu left (which is a true miracle, concidering how sticky it feels while applying) and I haven't experienced any breakouts on irritations. It doesn't make my skin feel greasy, dry or tight either. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: I'm normally not that much of a fan of such gooey, sticky textures, but I knew what to expect when going into this one and I actually loved it. It's extraordinary texture makes it so much fun to use this Cleanser and I don't even mind the possible mess when spilling it! I'm not a fan of the slightly chemical scent, but I absolutely love the results! I love how it makes my skin feel and look! I love that it's multifunctional and I love how fun it is! Highly recommended for everyone looking for a good, lightly exfoliating and moisturizing Cleanser or Mask, everyone looking for a multifunctional product (which, as you know, I love to add to my routine because it clearly simplifies any routine) or everyone just looking for a bit of fun while doing their skincare routine! 😉 4 stars, which would've been 5 if it didn't have that slightly chemical scent.
