How do you properly heal your skin after?

I got my facial warts removed after debating for such a long time. Followed the doctor's advice not to wash my face for two days (I know, ew) and applied the antibacterial ointment she prescribed me. Now, I'm wondering if anybody went through the same process as I did and if you can share some skincare tips on how to heal the wounds fast? For reference, I did not do the laser, it was more of burning the warts, so technically, they do look like wounds rn. I'm planning to use Dr. Althea 345 relief cream and Jumiso Snail mucin to moisturize my face while it's healing + Cetaphil facial cleanser. But if anybody has better tips, I would gladly appreciate it! Combi skin (Dry+Oily and Sensitive) girlie here 🩷

Considering it's post-procedure, I would consult with your doctor.

Healing your skin after procedures like wart removal requires gentle care to promote recovery and prevent complications. It's great that you're already following your doctor's advice by avoiding facial cleansing for the first two days and applying the prescribed antibacterial ointment. In addition to your current routine, incorporating the following steps may support healing: Cleansing: After the initial 48 hours, gently cleanse your face with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser like Cetaphil to remove impurities without irritating the healing skin. Moisturizing: Applying moisturizers containing soothing ingredients such as snail mucin can aid in skin repair. Products like Jumiso Snail Mucin have been noted for their hydrating and healing properties. Sun Protection: Protecting healing skin from UV exposure is crucial. Use a broad-spectrum, SPF 30 or higher, mineral sunscreen daily to prevent pigmentation changes and support the healing process. Avoid Picking: Resist the urge to touch or pick at the healing areas, as this can lead to infection or scarring. Keeping fingernails trimmed and using stress-relief techniques can help manage this impulse. It's always best to consult with your healthcare provider before introducing new products or making significant changes to your skincare routine, especially during the healing phase. They can provide personalized advice based on your skin's condition and needs.
