"Double cleansing with dry/sensitive skin — worth it or too much?"

Hey Picky friends with dry or sensitive skin! Let’s talk double cleansing — do you love it or leave it? With my sensitive skin, I was scared it would strip my barrier, but once I found the right gentle oil + cleanser combo, it actually helped reduce irritation and buildup! But I know for some, even one cleanser is a lot. So tell me — do you double cleanse, or stick to one step? Share your routine and let’s help each other glow without the burn! (May our skin stay calm and our giveaway dreams come true!)

I have combo skin. When I double cleanse with cleansing oil and cleansing foam, I find it too stripping for my skin. I’ve tried 4 cleansing oils and still it won’t agree with my skin. I finally found cleansing balms and this is so much better for me ❤️

Hi! Not an expert but speaking from experience… It’s alright as long as you are listening/observing to what your skin needs and how it is responding to the products you are using. If your skin needs total cleansing from dirt and make up, it is alright to double cleanse. If it is too dry, you can always opt to use mild hydrating cleaser and/or minimize double cleansing and do it only when needed—letting your skin to breath.

I typically only double cleanse if I am wearing full makeup. I only wear foundation for special occasions or special events happening at work.
