As a cosmetologist, I recommend to wait for 24 hours. Use ice on the face after wax. Before makeup, make sure to prep your skin with a good toner, and moisturizer.
Make sure to not apply ice directy on the skin.

Dry/Sensitive
It's generally recommended to wait at least 2-4 hours after sugaring your facial area before applying makeup. However, if possible, it's even better to go the rest of the day barefaced to allow your skin to fully calm down and recover.
Here's why and what to keep in mind:
* Open Pores: After sugaring, your hair follicles are open and more susceptible to bacteria. Applying makeup too soon can clog these pores and lead to irritation, redness, or even breakouts.
* Sensitivity: Your skin will be more sensitive immediately after sugaring. Makeup, especially certain ingredients, can cause further irritation.
* Healing: Giving your skin time to breathe and recover without makeup allows it to heal properly and reduces the risk of adverse reactions.
Key Aftercare Tips for Sugaring:
* Avoid touching the treated area: This helps prevent the transfer of bacteria.
* Keep it clean: Gently cleanse your face with cool water.
* Avoid heat: For at least 24 hours, steer clear of hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise that can cause sweating.
* Sun protection: Your freshly sugared skin will be more vulnerable to sun damage. Use a broad-spectrum SPF when going outside.
* Moisturize gently: After 24 hours, you can gently moisturize with a non-comedogenic product to keep your skin hydrated.
* Exfoliate (later): Wait 2-3 days before gently exfoliating to help prevent ingrown hairs.
