Do you double cleanse every night or only when wearing makeup? 🤔

I keep hearing mixed opinions about double cleansing. Some say it’s a must every evening, others say it’s only needed if you wear SPF or heavy makeup. What’s your take? Do you double cleanse daily, and if yes - what’s your favorite first cleanser

Double cleanser every night, I don’t wear make up, but I wear spf. I’ve started using an oil cleansing first and then a water base. My skin does seem brighter. Oil cleansers that are my favourite are skinfood and ksecret. Water based I have so many, the list is endless but a simple aveeno will always be my go to.

I also double cleanse every night, but I still haven’t found the right oil cleanser - some of them break me out 😅 That’s why I usually just go in with a gel cleanser two or even three times. Do you have any recommendations for a gentle oil that won’t cause congestion?

I double cleanse always. It's the one thing that helped my skin the most when I was breaking out. Currently using skin1004 oil and foam cleanser and it's really good.

Love hearing that! Double cleansing also helped me a lot when I was dealing with breakouts. I haven’t tried the Skin1004 oil yet - does it feel lightweight and rinse off clean? I do like their ampoules, so now I’m curious about their cleansers too 👀
