Life of Perfume ?

Hi all ! I have been advised in the past not to hoard perfume because they may not last long . On the contrary, even after I open a bottle after a year , it is still equally long lasting and the scent is just as beautiful ! How long do you store perfume bottles. Opened and unopened?

Honestly never thought about them not lasting long so I've had mine for years. I have a huge bottle that I've probably had for 4 years lmao it still smells great. My family always used to buy me the same perfume (my favorite) every Xmas but I don't use it as fast as they gift it! I've got 3 bottles of the same thing plus other random ones as well and they are all probably over 2 years old.

I have had this perfume for more than 3 years and it is still intact. Same powerful smell and delicious expensive sense.

The biggest destroyers of perfumes are a prolonged exposure to high temperatures and light. I store my perfumes in their boxes in a dark space, it seems to be good enough to preserve them. I have perfumes from the 70's that were gifted to me years ago and they still smell good.

Honestly I agree! It still has the same scent and doesn’t have anything as for major changes. 😌
