Dry/Resilient
Is it just itchy or is it also flakey and dry?
I would recommend going to a doctor if it’s abnormal and lasting long
If it persists, look into seeing a dermatologist too
Somethings I recommend as someone who has psoriasis and eczema
- Don’t shampoo everytime you was your hair. Shampoo can be drying, and that could lead to itchiness
- Use a scalp massager brush to rub in shampoo more thoroughly in the shower. It helps to make sure it’s distributed evenly
- Exfoliate your scalp once a week in the shower. The product I tagged is from Sephora and lasts forever. You can buy it in a gift set with the scalp brush I was talking about
- Make sure you’re thoroughly washing your hair out to make sure there isn’t excess shampoo in it. My hair is super thick, so for me it takes a while to get it out, and when I didn’t my skin was itchy
- Try not to scratch. I know that’s easier said than done. But if you’re constantly scratching at it, it can irritate it more
- Check in with yourself. Hopefully you’re doing okay, and aren’t stressed or going through anything negative. I have bad anxiety, and I found my head would be itchy whenever I was stressed and scratching would relieve my itchiness
Hopefully something in this helps you 🤍
