Review: Arencia Red Smoothie Serum

Hi guys, Since the Arencia Red Smoothie Serum isn't available in Picky's database yet (hopefully they will be adding it soon! ❤️), allow me to share my review here! 😉 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧? The Arencia Red Smoothie Serum is a lightweight, jelly like textured Serum containing Red Collagen Complex to help boost Collagen production and to help to improve your skin's elasticity, Rosehip Extract and Niacinamide for it's brightening properties and pore care and Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract for it's antioxidant properties. It promises plump, supple and smooth skin while reducing the appearance of pores, wrinkles and fines lines for smooth skin and claims to provide deep nourishement and hydration to the skin. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: This Serum looks and smells like a delicious fruity jelly or jam, ready to be put on a sandwich and get eaten! 😉 It smells sweet, fruity and delicious, like a berry smoothie! The scent doesn't keep lingering and isn't noticeable anymore after applying the Serum. It didn't cause any irritations on my sensitive combination skin. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: This Serum has a very lightweight reddish / Pinkish jelly texture, which feels really comfortable and refreshing while applying. It takes a bit to get fully absorbed and it does feel a bit sticky after applying. The sticky feeling doesn't really dissapears either but gets way less noticeable when you're going into with a moisturizer afterwards. Because of the lightweight, jelly like texture, this Serum is really enjoyable to apply. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: The one thing I can't really decide how I feel about it, is the packaging! I'm used to Serums coming in a bottle, with a dropper on top, but this Serum comes in a jar. The thing is, a bottle with a dropper seems more hygienic and convenient to me, I feel like it's easier to apply when using a dropper. The jar is beautiful though, it's a rounded plastic container in a gorgeous salmon pink shade, which comes in a beautiful pink carton box, containing all relevant information on the product and directions on how to use it in both English and Korean. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: After application, my skin feels hydrated, nourished, soft, supple, plump and bouncy and looks balanced and smooth. It also feels a bit sticky, which is too bad. The level of hydration and nourishement it provides is excellent though, it lasts all day long. I haven't experienced any breakouts, itching or irritations while using this Serum and it doesn't make my skin feel dry or tight either. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: I love the way this Serum looks, the jelly like texture looks amazing, it's almost like it's edible! And I also love it's soft, fruity and sweet scent and the amount of nourishement and hydration it provides! I think I can live with the fact that it comes in a jar instead of in a bottle with dropper, although I would prefer the latter, but it's a pity that it feels sticky while applying and the sticky feeling keeps being present. Without the sticky feeling, the Arencia Red Smoothie Serum definitely would have deserved 5 stars, but for now, they will have to settle with 4 stars. I would still recommended it though, to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable anti-aging experience! 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
