which goes first: spot treatment/ moisturizer

I don’t know if spot treatment must go first. I’m thinking if my skin is moisturized already it forms another product layer on my skin which will not help the spot treatment to penetrate my skin? How do you do it? which goes first?

i think it depends on the ingredients & texture. if the spot treatment texture is more like a gel/watery, it should be applied before moisturizer. however if the moisturizer is lighter, then spot treatment goes last. hope this will help! IG:skykahyan

moisturizer always goes first before spot treatment bec spot treatments are potent and the moisturizer will serve as a buffer :)
