πŸ’š Jolse/Yesstyle and price markups in Europe

One of you posted a question about websites that sell skincare and it actually made me think about my experience with two sites I use to buy AB products. Also why I have to buy there and not here in my country (availability being one of obviously reasons πŸ˜…). My original comment on mentioned post: I use Yesstyle and Jolse, it depends which one has better price on the product that interests me. Some brands are cheaper on Jolse than on Yesstyle and vice versa but I also count the total cost with shipping. Shipping is usually cheaper with Yesstyle as for my country Jolse has fixed rate of 9.90 usd (unless you're above certain threshold). Also Yesstyle has more discount codes to offer. In the end, unless one of them is having a really big sale, the prices are pretty comparable when you include shipping and standard rewards codes. Also everything always came intact. With Yesstyle however it takes about three to four weeks for my order to arrive (sometimes longer), while with Jolse it's about two weeks. At the end of the day, the prices Jolse and Yesstyle have are often much cheaper than what I can get here in Poland, it's always around 10$+ difference in price on same products. Oh, also Jolse accepts order cancellations, Yesstyle do not. I'm not sure about returns. What's your experience with online shops like Yesstyle/Jolse? Are prices of the same products higher where you're from?

I’ve also purchased from YesStyle (3 times) and JOLSE (once) and here are my experiences. πŸ› YesStyle πŸ› πŸ‘ Korean and Japanese products πŸ‘ great customer service πŸ‘ provides tracking πŸ‘ website is easier to navigate πŸ‘Ž takes a while to ship (3-4+ weeks HK to Canada) πŸ‘Ž β€œoriginal” prices are super marked up, so the β€œdeals” aren’t truly cheaper πŸ‘Ž high free shipping minimum πŸ›JOLSE πŸ› πŸ‘fast shipping (1 week Korea to Canada) πŸ‘ provides tracking πŸ‘ LOADS of freebies πŸ‘ lower free shipping minimum πŸ‘ always has sales (even more than YesStyle) πŸ‘Ž Korean products only (not sure how easy it is to contact customer service)

I use YesStyle a lot because they often have sales and their prices are excellent. And so far I never had customs issues (I live in Germany) ✨

Same! The only time I had to pay customs was when I ordered from iHerb.

I've never ordered something form Jolse yet but the shipping on Jolse are cheaper than on Yesstyle, which I discovered yesterday. Last time I ordered from Yesstyle the package was a bit damaged but I didnt have to deal with taxes or something. And the package arrives two weeks earlier so I dont mind. But it's a pity if I want to order stuff to gift them to my friends. Next time when I order stuff I'll probably doing it on Jolse.

Some brands had their authorized distributor here in my country, and most time prices here is better than YesStyle's (yes, even with those big discount event, it's still more expensive purchase something through YesStyle). I haven't purchase anything from Jolse yet but I'm interested to since they had more variety that not available currently in my country, and pretty much good pricepoint. Some brand does deliver directly from Korea to my country, they sell it though marketplace (Shopee and Lazada), while the price is like purchasing them through Olive Young. But, I do notice if I purcase them through physical store (Watsons or brand's store), it did became more expensive than purchasing them online.

I'm so envious that you can get products directly from some brands! I can't get really anything here in Poland, even some other bigger sites don't even ship here so I'm dependant mainly on Yesstyle and Jolse.
