Sheet mask contain Alcohol??

My main considerations is whether to use sheet masks that contain alcohol or those that are alcohol free? I normally dont use sheet mask, but I got gifted few of them, and I was curious about their ingredients. When I found out Alcohol was the first 4 ingredients in the top list, i was shocked. Like my Dr. jart Soothing Mask, Innisfree, etc They are all contained alcohol... In my research, some sheet masks contain alcohol because alcohol helps other ingredients to penetrate the skin more effectively. Alcohol can also help to keep a formula more stable. Should I keep using it 😭 I have very dry and sensitive skin. Can you recommend any alcohol free sheet mask?

have you tried sheet masks with alcohol before? ive used the innisfree oat real squeeze mask and it didnt dry out or irritate my skin. i have dry and sensitive skin with atopic dermatitis. if you dont feel comfortable using them, maybe you can pass it on to someone else. throwing it away would be a waste πŸ˜…

Most of my sheetmask has alcohol. It also has many hydrating ingredients in it. So my skin does not feel dry afterwards

Plenty of sheet masks don't contain alcohol: Apieu, Nature Republic, Keep Cool, Pyunkang Yul... Alcohol is used to get other ingredients to penetrate better. However alcohol is very drying for same. I just used some. Sheet masks that were gifted to me this week that contained alcohol and while the skin was hydrated and plumped in the beginning, I can feel the dehydration and tightness afterwards. Some do well with alcohol in products. Some don't. You need to try in an opened and unbiased way and see how it works for you. Don't listen to those been categorical about it.

I think you need to do patch test regarding whether your skin sensitive to alcohol first. So you only decide try it or throw/ give to others. Because mask that contains alcohol like dr.jart works well on my skin haha but not good on my friend's skin 🐰

Oppss that's bad :(( sorry to hear this. Just left it to others who are suitable then. Yourself just stop using it. I think you can check with dermatologist and your skin might actually sensitive to alcohol(?)

The sheetmask below dont have alcohol if your too scared to try one with alcohol. Otherwise I think its better if you use maybe just wash off form. There are many thing that may cause your irritation.
