How to double cleanse without cleansing balm

I use hemp seed oil to double clense as it has comedogenic rating of 0 which means it doesn't clog your pores at all. Take half spoon and massage it on your face for 10-15 mins and leave it be for half an hour and then wash it off. Do this once a week. This feels awesome!

Hemp seed oil is great, but not for cleansing. Cleansing oils and balms have emulsifiers and surfactants that help in rinsing them from the skin. They aren’t just oils. Double cleanse is meant to allow you to use a gentle water based cleanser. However, if you are left with oil residue, you need to actually use a harsher water based cleanser to get rid of the oil, something that would be rinsed off if the oil was formulated to be able to emulsify. There are some great cheap options on the market that may even be cheaper than hemp oil in the ling run, as you can usually buy 150ml/5oz. For similar price as 30ml/1oz of hemp oil. Hemp oil is a great facial oil, but while it can break off the makeup or sunscreen, it won’t be easy to rinse off without a harsh cleanser or using a towel and rubbing. Trying a nice cleansing oil can really make a difference, both for your skin and your wallet ☺️💙

Thats a good option! I stopped using cleansing balm cause I was scared it clogged my pores. I cleanse with a hydrating cleanser followed with a foaming cleanser now. I'm glad the oil works for you! 😊👍🏻

Yeah I read that they're not allowed here 😅 But surprisingly they are sold online by third party sellers. I don't think I would try them since I'm double cleansing fine.

Comedogenic ratings are bust. It does not speak for the ingredient itself. I personally use products with comedogenic ratings on different websites but it didn't clog my pores at all. Oil cleansers and balms won't clog your pores because it is well formulated by companies. But raw coconut oils do, so avoid them

When I started my journey with oil cleansing I just got cheap jojoba oil from Holland & Barret and it worked for me well and it was a great way to try without risking too much money. That way I got more interested in OCM and tried other ones
