I use BHA and Retinol at the same week. I use BHA on Mondays, and use granactive retinol on Thursdays. And every other day my skincare routine full of product that give hydration, calming and soothing into my skin.

I used a mild BHA in the morning and my retinol cream at night.
If I were to use a stronger BHA, I would skip the retinol at night.
BHA still makes your skin exfoliate itself days after you use it.
You just have to find the right strength and time to use it. Each skin reacts different
Right now I am using a mild BHA in the day and retinol moisturizer at night. This woeks best for me

I’ll probably be experimenting for a while then! The products I have are known to be pretty gentle but I’m definitely gonna be taking it super slow. Thanks for your comment! ♥️♥️

Limit use of BHA to 2-3 times a week maximum at night
Other nights you can use Retinoid
Don’t use in same routine, alternate nights
Start slow!!

I've discussed this topic with my dermatologist since what I was learned at university is actually far behind what dermatologists and beauty industry abroad knows (my country is bit late with all the new researches, etc) - she recommended me to use PHA (since I can't use AHA), but not in the same routine. When you start retinoid treatment - just use retinoid only since your skin might get hurt. Once you feel like your skin is okay with retinoids, you can try using AHA/BHA during morning routine and then retinoid during evening routine

You're welcome :) just start easy - retinol twice a week or thrice a week and see how it goes. I needed 3 months to even be able to change moisturizer since it turned moisturizers with alcohol and essential oils caused huge irritation while I was on retinol
