Best Way to Remove Silicones

If I wear a silicone based primer, then I can count on acne, super quickly too. My skin can tolerate some amount of silicones, but not when it's the main most abundant ingredient. So, my question is this. How does one gently remove silicones from their skin? Thank you.

I always make sure that i do double cleansing whenever i use silicone product. First i use oil cleansing product, and after that i use foam cleanser. And if on that week i use silicone product often, every 2 days i always exfoliate my skin with product that contains BHA to make sure my pores really clean.

Since silicone is resistant to water, double cleansing can help. You can use oil cleanser as your first cleanser and use foam wash after.

I suggest to double cleanse. First use an oil cleanser then a gel/foam cleanser. Maybe if you're skin is not too dry, you can incorporate some micellar water before the oil cleanser. Here's my product suggestions 👇🏻

This helps me, because I already double cleanse. But, I don't do this. I also like the idea of using my AHA/BHA afterwards. I wonder If I double cleansed two times in a row?

I used to double cleanse my face with oil cleanser. there are many option to choose, it depends on you, you can use cleansing oil, cleansing balm or even micellar water infused with oil now. then wash your face with second cleanser with facial wash.
