Cleanser residue - what do you do?

Before k-beauty, there were astringent alcohol toners that I would use to wipe the cleanser residue off. Now with all these hydrating toners and the recommendation of using your hands to pat it on, what do you guys use to get the cleanser residue off?

I'm often using some mild exfoliating toner, those that you can use daily and forgiving enough to sensitive skin. I'm currently using some oat gel cleanser and the cleaning power is quite low so i often reach for those kind of toner to make sure my face is clean. Here's some that i use, good enough for that "third cleanse " and gentle and hydrating enough to be use everyday.

I'll have to consider this. Thanks for the suggestion.

These days, most toners are not meant to remove cleanser residue. That is why we double cleanse to make sure that all the dirt and oils are removed. Make sure to rinse your skin very to avoid cleanser residue.

Hence why double cleansing at night is so beneficial. Or if you are double cleansing your not using it correctly especially the first cleanse as some will require you to add a little bit of water to emulsify then rinse before proceeding with the second cleanse and some do not require you to do so

i still use any watery hydrating toner in my stash or specifically a cleansing toner, this one by acwell really does its job so well to both hydrate and remove the leftover residue after cleansing :)

I just use any toner I have with cotton pads: exfoliating, hydraying, even fat toners.
