Angular Cheilitis

Hi! Since I started using Tretinoin, I can't get rid of angular cheilitis (inflammation of a corner of my mouth). I used vaseline to hydrate, topical treatement for it from pharmacy and nothing worked. Can you recommend me how to treat it? Many thanks ❤️

Someone on here recommended to me to put vasaline in sensitive areas like around the eyes lips before applying tretinoin and it's been a skin saviour !

I use vaseline as 'lip balm' at night but I will also try to use it before tret. Thanks!

Thank you for noting this! I also just started tretinoin and I noticed that the corner of my mouth is opened (?). Didn’t know the link was tretinoin ☺️

I am not 100% sure, I just think it is connected. I am used to getting a sore but it usually goes away in 3 days max. Now, after using tret, it simply won't dissappear 😣

Used to have that when I started out adapalene and both of these helped me a lot! I also tried almost all the lip balms in the drugstore and sephora but only these helped me.

I am, plus hydrating moisturizer everyday, plus 7 skins on same days. My face is generally ok, it is just those lips/corner 😥
