SUNSCREEN ALERT 🚨

Hello all! I’m the type of person that use sunscreen regularly BUUUT I heard some people which don’t used in indoor because the windows have UV protection. Checked mine, also with UV protection. Question: is it now necessarily to use my sunscreen indoor?

I’m guessing every window in your hone is UV rated then you don’t have to, unless you want to be extra careful or if you plan on leaving the house at all. Or perhaps just to keep sunscreen application as a normal habit so you don’t fall out of favor of applying it!

I wish I would have checked with my family if our windows have UV protection before spending all this money on SPF during quarantine 😭😭😭

Ahahahahahah 😂😂😂 I think that all windows which are new on the market have UV protection. Maybe the one that my grandmother had aren’t UV protection

I think it depends on where area are you from and what season it is. During summer, I usually apply sunscreen indoors since my room faces the sun so the UV index is pretty high and my windows don't have a UV blocker on them. But if you're well-protected from the sun in your house, I think it's fine to not wear sunscreen. Winter season also records a low UV index, so if you're indoors I think it's fine to skip the sunscreen.

Ok, so if your windows had UV blockers, would you still apply SPF indoor?

I don’t think there is any harm either way. I personally just like including an SPF product in my daily routine, but you could definitely skip it if you know you’ll be inside all day! :)
