It depends on your skin. If your sunscreen has moisturizing ingredients in it then it should be okay. If your skin is fine with it as well then go for it. Mosuturizer is to trap moisture so your skin doesn't lose it.

Are referring to Vicky Belo? Well, first of all she's not a licensed derma. We pretty much had a discussion about her here when she first released her TikTok video. She said that moisturizers makes skin greasy because of the humid weather. She have a point but advising everyone in the Philippines not to use moisturizer seems off. Well, there are actually lightweight moisturizers for that. However, you can actually skip moisturizer at some point. Some people skip moisturizer in the morning because their sunscreen is occlusive and moisturizing enough. The important thing is to use occlusives at the end of your routine to prevent trans-epidermal water loss. Dehydrated skin can make your skin oilier. We now have a lot of lightweight gel-type moisturizer sold online or in the pharmacy.

Depends on the products you are using. Krave Beauty Great Barrier Relief Serum is too thick I don't need to use a moisturiser on top of that. Also if your sunscreen is emollient enough and it feels heavy to add moisturiser then it should be fine.

I prefer to use a moisturizer becuse it locks in all the products you use before such as serums and toners.

I agree, we have similar skin types, for me personally I couldn’t go without moisturising 💖

Personally, i think moisturizer is a necessary products on our skincare routine. It's not only helps to moisturized or hydrate your skin, but the real 'function' of it is to lock the moisture on your skin after you applying toners or serum. ✨

When it's soooo humid I skip moisturizer at night. I don't have an AC on my room so it tends to be pretty hot and I can't sleep. But I don't always do it, just on nights when temp is high
