Depending on how frequently, yes. You skin can definitely get upset by constantly trying to readjust to new products. Especially if you don’t give yourself enough time to get used to a product with actives, or you’re using a new product and haven’t patch tested and potentially have a bad reaction. Skin love consistency, but there’s nothin wrong with switching it up occasionally.

i agree with the comment above! try to stick to a consistent routine since a lot of ingredients need about a month to start showing the results. skincare is all about patience and consistency so don’t change products all too often if you dont see results. it takes time to see slight changes and changing ingredients too much can irritate your skin

been thinking about this lately, i’ve managed to give it a break when i will start using my new skincare products especially when there are lots of product that i should tried. I believe we don’t need a lot of skincare all at once, but sometimes using the skincare we’ve been used for a long time n then our skin condition change also might not be useful, we need to change our skincare too (when our skin’s condition change n we don’t see any changes with our current skincare). Imo, keep using products that suits your skin n add others new products only if your skin needs that :)

It can be irritating to your skin to frequently switch products. And I wouldn’t introduce more than one product at a time into your routine just in case you do get irritation, because if you change more than one at a time it is hard to tell which product is causing irritation. For best results using products consistently over time is key. It gives the product time to produce results. Some ingredients take different amounts of time to show results. But I think it’s still fine to switch up your routine when you want to try something new. Just keep in mind that you may risk damaging your moisture barrier. For me, I just change a product after I finish using up the previous product. That way I don’t waste products and money. But if you don’t like a product feel free stop using it and change to something else.

Hi! I've been trying a lot of skincare products so I tend to change my routine very often. I think it lies not on the product, but the benefits of the product (ugh I'm sure I worded this wrong but I hope you get me🥲). For example, my routine is pretty basic 1st cleanser - 2nd cleanser - Exfo Toner 3 times a week - Hydrating Toner daily - Light ampoule/essence - thicker ampoule/serum/essence - moisturizer - sometimes sleeping pack. As long as I stick to that routine, but the products are switched up a little here and there, I feel fine. But the moment I go a little extra, or I decided to take one out without substituting it, then my skin doesn't have enough hydration or moisture.... I hope this makes sense..... but anyways, you know your skin best! I also encourage sticking to one routine though so your skin doesn't always have to adjust to new products🤍
