alcohol denat in sunscreen

Hi! I am curious about something and I hope someone can explain this to me. I have the la roche posay anthelios shaka fluid spf 50+ and also the garnier fluid 50+. They both have alcohol denat in them but they are still one of the best dupes. What's the deal with this alcohol is it good or bad? It's hight up on the ingredient list. Edit: Thank you all for your comments! πŸ’œ

alcohol often used in sunscreen to make the texture lighter, easier to blend and gives you a matte finishing. People do say alcohol denat is bad but I guess it depends on your skin. If the alcohol makes your skin feels dry and tight, then it is better to avoid it.

it depends on the concentration and the formulation in the sunscreen, i think. if it is formulated well, it maybe doesnt cause any bad reaction. My friend has a sensitive skin yet she love the LRP and said it was her holy grail. You can try a sample before purchasing the full size product

it's to make the texture lightweight, like a fluid. some people are sensitive to it, some people have no problem with it.

some people are sensitive to and and it can dry out your skin, but if you don't have any problem with it or use a moisturizer underneath it's ok

I never let a little alcohol in spf bother me. Biore has it and it’s one of my faves.
