cerave moisturizing cream… as eye cream?

So I don’t want to buy a separate eye cream because I don’t really have any specific concern right now, and I try to keep my routine minimal. But I was wondering if there’s any value in me using my cerave moisturizing cream as an eye cream? Any potential downsides? I have combo normal/oily skin (adapalene is has been toning down my oil production) so my current moisturizer is the rovectin lotus water cream, and I’ll use the cerave cream every once in a while if I’m feeling dry. Thanks in advance for the help! :)

You'll be fine! I used to apply cerave moisturising cream on my under eye area. The product never irritated my skin.

I have used this around my eyes with no adverse effects and it is moisturising, I also have their eye cream now, it's alright but not life changing.
