Geek & Gorgeous results?

Does any of you use any G&G products? I'm using their exfoliants, vitamin C serum and I also tried the retinal serum. I see the results with acids as I get fewer pimples and my skin is smoother. However I don't know about the vitamin C serum or retinal. If you use them do you have any thoughts? Do you see any results?

Hi 👋🏻 how long have you been using them for? Usually you can see results from acids pretty quickly, even after a few weeks or, in some cases, days. However, vitamin c and retinol need longer time to work. To see the results from vitamin c you need to use it for a month to 2 months, while retinols usually take about 3 months to show results. So maybe that’s why you feel like they arent working🥰

Adapalene is definitely the most potent of them all, so you should see the biggest difference when using it. As far as retinol and retinal go, retinol is more studied as of now, but it’s one step further from retinoic acid then retinal, so retinal should be more potent then retinol - maybe that’s why you were experiencing dryness. You can always try to mix your retinoid products with a moisturizer or layer them on top of the moisturizer to minimize the dryness and deal with unpleasant texture💙
