it’s not overhyped, I think maybe you’re using the wrong products for your skin, or perhaps you don’t have acne and your spots are caused from something else e.g. rosacea, damaged skin barrier etc. look into the products you’re using and your specific skin type! it’s worth trying other salicylic acid products, or switching to a new ingrediant entirely if it’s really not working for you 🌿

hey! salicylic is amazing, and will clear up your acne. I have spots, but salicylic acid actually made my skin worse. I later found out that I didn’t have acne, I have rosacea type 2 so salicylic acid was not the right ingrediant for my skin. make sure you have the right skin type for the products you’re using. the only time salicylic acid will work for my spots, is if I use it in a cleanser 💗

it depends on what products have you used and for how long have you used them. But of course every skin type is unique.

I guess it depends on what are you trying to achieve and on how realistic your expectations are… It does work for me, well it helps, it doesn’t do miracles, but non of others ingredients or skin are in general does either. I still do have blemishes and blackheads, but I definitely do feel the difference when I use salicylic acid products.

hm i didn't think about that, i thought it did nothing for me but maybe if i didn't use it my break outs would've been worse, especially with the mascne situation, thanks:)

try leave on salicylic acid products! obviously, you can get a smallest benefits of salicylic acid in wash-off.
