Retinaldehyde is one step conversion from Retinoic acid and it’s less irritating but more expensive than retinol
here is a chart for retinoids…you can definitely change to retinaldehyde and see how it works for you

just wondering.... what brand of retinoid are you using currently and how did you start? what brand n strength... and how long did it take for yr skin to adjust?

no, the irritation did cut down a bit when i tame it with moisturizers
but what i meant was: its been 9mths, but my tolerance level did not improve, and until now i still need multiple layers of moisturizer to tamper the irritation down.
so i want to find out from those who hv used the above brands before, and whether my user-experience with this particular retinol from T.O. is normal thing
is it just my own skin that's having low tolerance level towards retinols in general, or.... is it due to the particular brand that's giving me trouble.
ive only ever used that T.O. retinol, and since its my first time, and my experience hasn't been pleasant, it makes me wonder...
