When using acne treatments, would applying products after reduce the effectiveness of the treatment?

I am currently using Hiruscar Post Acne treatment which was recommended by a doctor. They said to wait for it to set before applying moisturizer. I wonder when applying moisturizer after, would the treatment be less effective? I don't usually use treatment products unless prescribed or recommended by doctors so I get curious haha Let me know your experience with acne treatments! How do you incorporate them on your routine? 😊

if your doctor has told you to apply moisturiser afterwards, then I think you should! moisturiser helps to lock in moisture and helps other products to absorb into the skin. it won’t make the treatment less effective if you’ve applied it first πŸ’—

I don't think applying moisturiser after will make it less effective. Let it absorb, let it set as instructed. Once absorbed into your skin, it should work. :) As above comment said, moisturiser can help lock in the product and moisture. It is important to ensure your skin won't be dry so it can be healthy. Some acne treatments can also potentially be drying, so moisturiser is even more important then and will be helpful to counteract any drying effects.!
