You should never mix adapalene with any acne products containing salicylic acid or sulfur. TIL contains 1% salicylic acid as the active ingredient. Succinic acid is an inactive ingredient featured by TIL as a marketing tool. It also contains sulfur. I suggest reading Labmuffin’s post on the shadiness of this product. They are only able to call it an acne product because salicylic acid and sulfur are medically proven to treat acne.
