I personally found the cerave renewing sa cleanser very harsh for my skin. it really burnt my face, and made it quite red. based off my own personal experience, I would not use strong acids with this cleanser. it really stripped my skin and damaged my skin barrier because of the strong ingredients. it may be fine for your skin, as everyone’s skin is different! if I was using strong acids I would use a gentle cleanser 💗

I don’t think using all the products you have listed at once is a good idea. but for me, I can use cerave and PC together or PC and a retinoid product. I’ve never paired Cerave with retinoid (not that I think it will be too harsh for me, I just happened never do that before) maybe just try retinoid then try to pair it with cerave to see how your skin tolerate it ( if you really run out of gentler cleanser)🙃🙃

I use Cerave SA Smoothing one day and night and my skin is loving it! I only skip it when I use a retinol or something else that has exfoliants in it. I think everyone has different resilience and my skin needs lots of exfoliation. But to be on the cautious side, you could start with using it once a day and increase the frequency if you feel the need and/or your skin can take it.

it will definitely over exfoliate the skin
on nights you’re using bha and retinoids and aha, opt for a hydrating gentle cleanser instead
