J-Beauty YouTuber/IG Recommendations?

Hi all, I'm looking for recommendations for YouTubers/ig influencers who focus more on J-Beauty skincare and who speak English. Japanese skincare in general gets very little love on social media so I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations! It's also very hard to discover new brands as a lot of Japanese skincare packaging is exclusively in Japanese (K-beauty on the other hand is the opposite). The only one I know of is Tina Tanaka Harris, but she doesn't post as often as I'd like 😁 thanks!

I agree! When i was skincare blogging like 10 to 5 years ago JBeauty was waaaay more popular than Kbeauty among Asian skincare lovers. I remember following a good bunch of Japanese and Western bloggers writing about Jbeauty. They've all stopped blogging/moved on (me included 😂) Actually, JBEAUTY makes me think of JPop, they don't give a fly about going "global". That's why we don't see a lot of PR on social media with global influencers hence why we have the impression it's less popular. my fave Jbeauty blogger is Ratzillacosme.com It is the bible of JBeauty. When i wanna know about new products i visit Kireistation.com. It's an online shop. EDIT: I could write an essay as to why kbeauty seems more popular than JBeauty but...imma calm down

I see!! that's so interesting... yes I've noticed that about J-Beauty vs K-beauty.. K beauty is a lot more aggressive in its global marketing so it's not surprising it's gaining more popularity over J-Beauty. but thank you for the rec!! ratzillacosme looks like an AMAZING site :)

Hi, I also watched videos from Tina or Kimdao, it's just that not many reviews of skincare products from Japan. 😌

Yeah agree with you, really don't know that many youtubers who are mostly dedicated to J beauty... I only watch Tina
