To layer or not to layer?!

I’ve always wondered what comes first face oil or moisturiser? Or do you layer both? Personally, if I’m using a face oil, I don’t use a moisturiser after as it feels too heavy. Curious to see if you’re team oil, team moisturiser or both?

Same! Oil as my last step feels just right, anything more and it might break me out

I have oily skin so I tend to avoid oils. I do enjoy oils (dry oils) once in a while. I’d still use a moisturizer albeit a lightweight one. The oil goes at the last step of my routine to seal everything in.

In the winter, I usually use both (moisturizer first then oil) since my skin is extra dry but I usually only use moisturizer in the summer.

I think it depends, on the viscosity of the product. If the moisturiser is lightweight gel kinda consistency, I use moisturiser first and then face oil. if i am using a heavy cream based moisturiser i do avoid using face oil to not over do it.

I like to add a couple of drops of oil and mix it in with my moisturizer. I find that works best with my skin. I usually use jojoba as its light enough for my oily skin.
