patch test betrays me

I've noticed that patch test will be fine, I usually do it near my ear for two days. Then a few days into using the product on my face I'll get irritation, pimples and small itchy bumps :') Anyone else find that patch testing not work as well for them? Anyone have suggestions on what to do?

Patch testing is advisable usually around 72hrs. What i do with my patch test, specially if I'm skeptical with the product, is i apply it behind the ear, somewhere along my jaw and i will reapply it consistently everyday on the same spot for 3 days.

that could be purging depending on what products and actives you're using

there's no active in it, it did have fragrance which I was worried about. sometimes my skin is fine with it and other times it's not. depends on the product
